Extended Reality Simulation Platform (ESP™)

This paper presents the ESP™ platform, utilizing XR and NVIDIA Omniverse™ for high-fidelity 3D simulations in space mission planning, training, and optimization. The platform enhances mission planning efficiency, robotic system validation, teleoperation precision, and ISRU processes. It offers significant advancements in mission accuracy, training effectiveness, and resource utilization.

Miguel Arias, CEO of Prefixa

Dr. Miguel Arias-Estrada is a leader in Extended Reality (XR) and Spatial Computing, with 20+ years of experience in computer science and machine vision, with a Ph.D. from Université Laval in Quebec, Canada. From 1999 to 2007, he led marine and aerial surveillance projects at INAOE in Puebla, Mexico, focusing on 3D computer vision accelerated by FPGA/GPU technologies.

 

Miguel holds two U.S. patents, has published extensively, launched a Reconfigurable Computers Conference and has researched Neuro Morphic Computing. He is the Founder and CEO, Prefixa Inc., focusing on 3D/XR advanced visualization and simulation for training, teleoperation, mining, and space applications.
