There are a number of technical solutions available to measure and recover 3D surface information for industrial inspection, reverse engineering and process validation of manufactured articles. However these solutions are generally based on expensive and/or slow processes to obtain 3D data points.

Prefixa has developed several algorithms and novel procedures (patents pending) to recover 3D information with white light and stereo imaging. We have developed our cameras based on our state of the art proprietary technology in FPGA-based image processing acceleration to deliver real time, frame rate image processing.

Our solutions are cost effective for many machine vision inspection applications and can be targeted for in-process/in-line inspection applications.
